Lochlea Distillery Smoke Without Fire - Ex-Peated & Red Wine Casks

Besonderheiten: Die Lochlea Distillery präsentiert mit "Smoke Without Fire" eine spannende Erweiterung ihres Kernsortiments. Dieser Single Malt Whisky wird zu 100 % aus der eigenen Gerste der Brennerei hergestellt, vor Ort destilliert und gereift. Die Reifung erfolgt in einer Kombination aus Ex-Peated Refill Bourbon Barrels und Red Wine Casks, was zu einem ausgewogenen Zusammenspiel von fruchtigen und rauchigen Aromen führt. Diese Abfüllung basiert auf der beliebten Ploughing Edition und ist nun das ganze Jahr über erhältlich.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Einladende Aromen von roten Früchten, begleitet von einer blumigen Süße und einem Hauch von Lagerfeuerrauch.
  • Gaumen: Vollmundig und ausgewogen, mit einer harmonischen Balance zwischen fruchtiger Süße und sanftem Rauch.
  • Abgang: Lang anhaltend, mit einem subtilen Nachklang von Rauch und einer angenehmen Fruchtigkeit.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Lochlea Distillery ist eine unabhängige Farmbrennerei in den schottischen Lowlands. Bekannt wurde die Region durch den schottischen Nationaldichter Robert Burns, der von 1777 bis 1784 auf der Lochlea Farm lebte. Unter der Leitung von John Campbell, der zuvor 27 Jahre bei Laphroaig tätig war, produziert die Brennerei Single Malt Whiskys, die durch ihre Eleganz und Fruchtigkeit bestechen.

Great upgrade from canned air for keyboard and desk cleaning
