Joseph & Alexander est une entreprise familiale qui valorise profondément le rôle de l'océan dans la création d'une planète plus heureuse.

Le short est fabriqué à partir de bouteilles en plastique recyclées. Dans ce processus, les déchets plastiques sont triés, puis déchiquetés en flocons propres, fondus, extrudés puis filés en fil de polyester pour le tissu. Les maillots de bain sont fabriqués à partir d'ECONYL®, un nylon 100 % régénéré dérivé de filets de pêche jetés et de déchets de nylon provenant des décharges et des océans du monde.
