Die "U.S.N. M-43 Deck Jacket" von THE REAL McCOY'S basiert auf einer sorgfältig überarbeiteten Version der in den 1940er Jahren für die US Navy entwickelten Deck Zip Jacket.

Anstelle der bei Nässe rostenden und mit Handschuhen schwer zu bedienenden Reißverschlüsse wurden praktische Haken verwendet, um einen zuverlässigen Verschluss zu gewährleisten.

Das Material besteht aus einem extrem dicht gewebten Cotton Cord Cloth, das effektiv vor Nässe, Wind und Wetter schützt. Ergänzt wird es durch ein schweres Wollfutter und eine Einlage aus Rayon, die für zusätzliche Isolierung und Wärme sorgen.
