Dino Detektive ist ein unterhaltsames Familienbrettspiel von Amigo Spiele, bei dem 2 bis 4 Spieler in die Rollen von Paläontologen schlüpfen. Gemeinsam erkunden sie Ausgrabungsstätten, um Dinosaurierknochen zu finden, freizulegen und vollständige Skelette zusammenzusetzen. Dabei bewegen die Spieler ihre Figuren strategisch auf dem Spielplan und nutzen Bewegungskarten, um an die begehrten Fossilien zu gelangen.

Das Spiel kombiniert taktische Elemente mit Würfelmechanismen, bei denen die gewürfelten Farben die Fundorte der Knochenstücke bestimmen. Jedes Spielerteam besteht aus einem Forscher, einer Assistentin und einem Hund, wobei nur der Forscher Knochen entdecken kann. Die Spieler sammeln Punkte, indem sie komplette Dinosaurierskelette bilden und erhalten Bonuspunkte für das erste vollständige Skelett jeder Art. Die Interaktion und der Wettstreit um Fossilien sorgen für spannende Momente und fördern gleichzeitig Teamgeist und Kommunikation.

Das Spielmaterial umfasst einen Spielplan, Spielfiguren, Farbwürfel, Fundstück-Karten und Ruhmesmarker. Trotz der kindgerechten Thematik ist Dino Detektive ein Gesellschaftsspiel, das auch Erwachsene anspricht und sich ideal für Familien-Spieleabende eignet.
