Wir, als eine der letzten noch selbst gerbenden Gerbereien in Deutschland, suchen nach neuen Absatzmärkten um dieses tolle Material nicht in den Wäldern verrotten zu lassen.

Unsere Felle werden entweder durch uns selbst gejagt oder von Jägern aus der Region zu einem fairen Preis aufgekauft und nach einer sehr alten Rezeptur meines Ur-Großvaters aus Leipzig gegerbt. Der Gerbstoff, welcher hier verwendet wurde ist Alaun, welcher über Wochen hinweg wieder und wieder in die Haut ein gebürstet bzw. einmassiert wird. Hiermit garantieren wir unseren Kunden ein erstklassiges und vor allem absolut nachhaltiges Produkt zu einem Top Preisleistungsverhältnis.

Alle unsere Felle sind frei von Chrom, Bleichmitteln, Weichmachern und Lösungsmitteln.

Sie haben hier die Chance auf ein wirkliches Unikat. Felle sind unterschiedlich in Größe und Farbe und können daher denen auf den Fotos leicht abweichen. Wir wollen nichts wegschmeißen und bieten daher unsere Felle in verschiedenen Sortierungen an. 

Unsere Felle sind mit oder ohne Branten. Dies hat nichts mehr der Qualität zu tun. 

1. Wahl so gut wie keine Beschädigungen evtl. wurde der Schuss vom Jäger zugenäht 

2. Wahl kleinere Beschädigungen oder kleinere Stellen an denen die Haare ausgefallen sind

3. Wahl zum Basteln oder nähen gedacht, größere Löcher oder auch Kahlestellen perfekt für Näh arbeiten wie zum Beispiel Bommeln

Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

This is the second order I’ve made of these shelves (a different length and color for a different room). I’ve put up floating shelves before, and over time they listed although they never fell down. Everything about these shelves suggests they will last a long time. The shelves are beautiful, very well sanded and varnished, and the wood grain is lovely (same with the darker shelves). The installation is relatively simple with easy-to-understand instructions and the support that the shelf fits into is sturdy. Everything works as the directions say, and the shelves seem sturdy when installation is complete. The seller clearly takes pride in their product; even the packaging is very carefully and artfully done. A drill makes the job far easier than it would with just a screwdriver. One set of my shelves are placed one directly below another, so it took some time and my 2 foot level to make sure they are vertically even. If the shelves are offset from each other, as we did with the first installation, it’s easier and takes less time. I would recommend these to anyone.

The shelves are beautiful, made from real wood with exquisite grain patterns, and they arrive very well sanded and varnished. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the mounting bracket is sturdy with an excellent precision fit. Once installed, the shelves feel extremely solid and secure. This company clearly takes pride in its products. Even the packaging is carefully and thoughtfully done. With some careful measuring, clamps, and a pocket hole jig, I was able to combine two different shelf sizes to create a custom corner shelf that turned out great. I highly recommend these shelves and will definitely continue purchasing them as I add more to my home.
