Etymologie: pentaphyllum: penta = fünf, phyllum = Blätter
Vermehrung: Teilung
Herkunft: Mittel- und nördliches Südamerika
Standort: weit verbreitet, von der pazifischen bis zur atlantischen Küste, auch im Binnenland, zumeist epiphytisch, in Höhenlagen von 25 bis 1400m Höhe in premontanem Feuchtwald.
Anmerkungen: Anthurium pentaphyllum ist ein sehr robustes, leicht zu kultivierendes Aronstabgewächs. Da diese Art stark kletternd wächst, kann ein Moos- (Cocos-) Stab als Stütze gegeben werden. Mit den 5- bis mehrfach gefiederten Blättern unterscheidet sie sich deutlich von den anderen Anthurien.
