  • Der Tankring gewährleistet einen sicheren Halt auch bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten.
  • Eine einfache und mechanische Verriegelung ermöglicht das schnelle Aufsetzen und sichere Verriegeln des Tankrucksacks.
  • Zum Entriegeln wird der Mechanismus durch einen Gurt am vorderen Teil des Tankrucksacks betätigt, woraufhin der Rucksack leicht abgenommen werden kann.
  • In Deutschland ist für die Nutzung des Tankrucksacksystems keine Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere notwendig.
  • Die empfohlene Höchstgeschwindigkeit mit montiertem Tankrucksack beträgt 130 km/h.
  • Die maximale Zuladung für den Tankrucksack sollte etwa 3 kg nicht überschreiten.

Während der Basic Tankring eine rein mechanische Verriegelung bietet, unterstützen bei den Lock-it Tankringen zusätzliche Magnete die Zentrierung des Tankrucksacks.
