Die AHS 18-55 V Heckenschere von Metabo ist leicht und leistungsstark. Mit Ihrem geringem Laufgeräusch ist sie auch für lärmsensible Bereiche geeignet. Die Messer haben eine spezielle Geometrie, welche für geringen Verschleiß und damit 200% längere Standzeit sorgt. Die Maschine hat Dank Ihrer beidseitig diamantgeschliffenen Messerzähne im Winkel von 30° ein sauberes Schnittbild und im zusammenspiel mit dem zweistufig untersetztem Getriebe eine hohe Schnittleistung. Damit das Arbeiten so angenehm wie Möglich gestaltet werden kann, wurde die Heckenschere mit einem virbrationsarmen Lauf, einer perfekten Ergonomie und einem Softgrip-Handgriff ausgestattet. Natürlich wurde auch auf die Sicherheit viel Wert gelegt. So hat die Heckenschere einen elektronischen Messerschnellstopp der das Messer in 0,3 Sekunden zum Stillstand bringt. Desweiteren wurde ein Sicherheits-Untermesser und ein Anstoßschutz mit Zweigzuführung verbaut, um so den Anwender und das Gerät vor Rückschlägen zu schützen.
