5-Minute Dungeon is a chaotic, real-time cooperative card game where players have just five minutes to escape the random dungeon. Communication and teamwork are crucial to survival, because there is no time to come up with a well-thought-out plan, and there is no predicting what dangers lie ahead.
In more detail, players take on the role of one of ten heroes, each with special cards and abilities. Once the five-minute timer starts, the race to defeat all the monsters in the dungeon begins. To defeat a monster, players must match symbols from their hand with those on the monster's card. At the end of each dungeon is a powerful dungeon boss. After the first boss is defeated, the campaign moves on to the second boss. Each boss and each dungeon becomes more difficult as players reach the fifth and final boss.
