Die Hydrangea panniculata Limelight ist eine besonders beliebte Rispenhortensie, die mit ihrem beeindruckenden Farbverlauf begeistert. Ihre großen, konischen Blütenrispen starten im Sommer in einem frischen Limonengrün, wechseln zu einem edlen Cremeweiß und nehmen im Herbst sanfte Rosttöne an.

Mit einer Wuchshöhe von 1,5 bis 2 Metern ist die Limelight vielseitig einsetzbar – ob als Solitärpflanze, in Gruppenbepflanzung oder als dekorative, blühende Hecke. Sie blüht an neuem Holz, was einen Rückschnitt im Frühjahr besonders effektiv macht. Ihre Blüten ziehen Bienen und Schmetterlinge an und tragen so aktiv zur Förderung der Artenvielfalt bei.
