Die Firma Metabo bietet hier einen 18 V Akku mit 5,2 Ah und besticht durch ein höchst effizientes und schonendes Laden, eine optimale Ausnutzung der Energie sowie eine extrem lange Lebensdauer durch die permanente elektronische Einzelzellenüberwachung (ESCP ). Durch die patentierte "AIR COOLED"-Ladetechnologie wird der Akkupack im Ladegerät mit Luft gekühlt, für eine kürzere Ladezeit und längere Lebensdauer. Der Akkupack kann lange gelagert werden bei nahezu keiner Selbstentladung.
