Players command the Axis and Western Allied factions across campaigns in Western Europe, managing force projection, air power, ground movement, and combat at the operational-strategic level. The game uses low on-map counter density, simple stacking, integrated movement and combat, and a single combat system without printed combat or movement factors on the counters. Scenarios range from Poland 1939 to France 1944, with campaign focus including Denmark-Norway 1940, the Balkans 1941, French North Africa 1942, France 1940, and France 1944. It keeps the ground and air rules compatible with Unconditional Surrender! World War 2 in Europe while abstracting or removing broader strategic elements to reduce space and playing time.
