Formation & Characteristics
Spirit Quartz forms with a central candle-shaped crystal that bears a faceted termination, surrounded by hundreds of smaller crystal terminations. This specimen presents a purple amethyst core with red hematite inclusions. Also known as Cactus Quartz or Porcupine Quartz, it is found only in the Magaliesberg Mountain region of South Africa and first appeared around 2001.

Saved my skin during an eczema flare up
This saved my skin!
I had an eczema flare on my face, and my usual products werenāt working. A friend recommended the Avene brand and within 3 days of using this rescue barrier serum, my flare was almost completely gone! This saved my face!

PLEASE REVIEW ā FORMULA CHANGED!!!
I wish I wouldāve posted a review PRIOR to the formula changing but just know that I LOVED this serum. Iāve struggled with hormonal acne (PCOS) and eczema for as long as I can remember. Finally, last summer my dermatologist put me on (3) different RX including Spironolactone and Accutane. I was so tired so I stopped everything except for CeraVe cleanser, retinol (Tretinoin) and CeraVe healing ointment. My made up skin routine was working until I used too much Tretinoin and burned my face. I had read great reviews about this product so I thought, I might as well try it ā and IT WORKED! Iāve been using this product for almost a year and I loved it. However, 3 weeks ago when I ordered it, I noticed the bottle had a green tint. I could tell after one use that the feel of the serum was different, more watery, not as thick as it used to be. The smell was also different. Still, I kept using it for nearly 2 weeks and I experienced 2 breakouts! Sure enough, I stopped the product and within a few days, my skin was back to normal. I am very upset because as someone who has extremely sensitive skin, this worked but unfortunately, the new formula isnāt for me.

Gentle and Perfect for Sensitive Skin

This is a great micellar water! I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin, and it hasnāt caused any redness or irritation at all. It removes makeup very easily and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed afterward. I also like to follow up with a mild face wash as part of a double cleanse routine; overall, it feels gentle, effective, and perfect for sensitive skin.

Whoa- I canāt believe this!

I wanted to try this product for a very specific purpose, I have been looking at facial cleansing wipes to use occasionally at bedtime instead of stripping my face by doing a full wash with cleanser and water. I rarely wear makeup, I spend my energy on finding the best skincare products for my skin and sunscreen. So at bedtime usually, Iām just taking off sunscreen and the dayās grime, or if I didnāt go out, the dayās moisturizing products. I tried several brands of moist facial cleansing wipes, and they left behind a greasy film and my face still feels like it needs a full wash. I would never want to skip properly cleansing my skin, and I usually do a full routine while I shower, but it would be nice to be able to occasionally do something quicker and more convenient without sacrificing on quality. I was hoping this product might cleanse well without needing to be rinsed or breaking me out on occasions where I want something quick and convenient, or maybe am travelling and need a basic routine.
Wow, this product is not only perfect for that, it actually makes my skin soft and clean, youād never know I skipped my regular cleansing and just used this Bioderma product with a cotton pad before my nighttime moisturizers/serum. It completely takes off the dayās water resistant facial sunscreen and any sweat or grime and leaves my skin very clean, soft, not dry, and it feels like there is no residue whatsoever. I also donāt break out or get clogged pores, it is just a clean, soft texture. One cotton pad with product is all takes for my entire face to look and feel just as clean as if I had used my regular products (a cleansing balm followed by a foaming cleanser and lots of rinsing with water).
I have used this micellar water quite a bit since receiving it, and have not broken out or had clogged pores from ācutting cornersā so to speak. And it cleanses very well. I canāt believe how well it cleanses without needing to be rinsed, without irritating my skin, without clogging pores or causing breakouts, and is suitable to use and then put on my serum and nighttime moisturizer. Iāve even used it the next morning to remove the nighttime moisturizers and then put on my SPF.
I worried that I was going to cause my skin not to look as good if I didnāt properly wash and rinse with water but this product is so amazing. I have not yet used it to see how well it removes makeup since I rarely wear any, but just for skincare and cleansing without a full wash with regular water, it is so amazing. Not going to sugarcoat it, this is me wanting a convenient routine when I travel but this is also me being lazy on nights when Iām very tired or mornings when I am in a hurry.
I consider this one of my few holy grail skincare products. I have picked up a smaller size for travel. I will keep this on hand always. Iām not even looking at moist wipes anymore. (This product is more gentle and leaves no residue as compared to a dermatologist recommended brand of face wipes). Iām most surprised that it cleans my face so thoroughly and that not rinsing does not cause any irritation or breakouts. Just wow. Totally worth the price. I was going to try other brands but this product has been so good there is no need to.

Go to cleanser thatās simple, effective, and skin-friendly!

I love this micellar water. It removes my makeup on the first pass with no harsh rubbing or irritation. Even around the eyes, it feels soothing rather than stinging, which isnāt always the case with makeup removers. Itās also fragrance free and lightweight, so it doesnāt leave behind any greasy or sticky residue.
Another major plus is the no-rinse formula. You can use it quickly with a cotton pad and be done, which makes it perfect for busy nights or when you just donāt feel like doing a full routine! It leaves your skin feeling clean, calm, and moisturized. Seriously gentle yet effective.
