Souffle Continu Records present the first ever reissue of Workshop de Lyon's Tiens! Les Bourgeons Eclatent..., originally released in 1978. The collective methodology of the Workshop de Lyon led to the creation of the Association Searching for an Imaginary Folklore (ARFI) in 1977, their aims were very much a mission statement "encourage improvisation, spread diverse musical styles and provide means of expression to others with similar ideas, establish a folklore..." Their reference was the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (A.A.C.M.) created twelve years previously with the similar idea of providing material assistance to and defending the interests of creative musicians, in order to encourage the emergence of new music. The open-structured ARFI self-produced their music thanks to their own label, on which almost all of the albums of the Workshop de Lyon appeared, from Concert Lave (1980) onwards. Their third album, Tiens! Les Bougeons Éclatent... is a perfect example of how the group sounded when it was released in 1978, about a year after the studio recording. Pianist Patrick Vollat had left but was still very much a part of ARFI (in particular as part of the excellent La Marmite Infernale), so the Workshop de Lyon stabilized to a quartet of Louis Sclavis, Maurice Merle, Jean Bolcato, and Christian Rollet, and already had at the time an unparalleled repertoire. This never ceased to expand, through the meetings and personnel changes, while losing nothing of it's generosity, nor showing any signs of aging. This proffers on the Workshop de Lyon a certain universal dignity which honors their original models, Albert Ayler or the Art Ensemble Of Chicago to name but two, transfiguring them into a new, exciting aesthetic approach bursting with openings and exchanges. Functional and easy to install!
Color: Cool White
This umbrella light is super handy! It hinges open to allow installation around the umbrella pole, so you don’t have to remove umbrella from table to add the light. I like that it can be charged with included USB cord or can use regular batteries. The different light settings are also nice depending on how much light you need or want at the time. We’ll be using this quite often when sitting at the table by the pool this summer.

A lovely gentle cleanser - good for rosacea-prone skin
I have also purchased the Thayer's Milky toner and really liked it.
I normally use oil-based cleansers, like Beauty of Joseon ginseng oil cleanser (which I still do love), and Cosrx makes a snail mucin cleanser that I use for cleansing off makeup or sunscreen and it's very nice. But for my daily regular wash, particularly in the morning, I like a very gentle easy-to-wash-off cleanser that hydrates and soothes.
This Thayer's has no perfumes/fragrances! Good for rosacea-prone skin. Hydrates and soothes very well.
It didn't strip my skin, wasn't oily at all (though good oil-based cleansers do feel oily they don't stay oily), and felt wonderful as I cleansed my skin - also washed away very easily and quickly; I do about 14 or so splashes of water to be sure all is removed then use a washable reusable toner pad with toner to remove any lingering residue.
It doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry. It is gentle. It doesn't lather up, which I like since I don't use lathering products or soaps on my face. No burning, itching, redness, or any irritation at all.
I normally use K-Beauty but Thayer's is one brand I will use that's not in the K-Beauty products category. It really is a lovely cleanser.

Gentle, Hydrating Cleanser That Doesn’t Strip My Skin
I’ve been really enjoying this cleanser so far. The formula feels lightweight, creamy, and hydrating without leaving behind any heavy residue. I especially love that it’s fragrance free and sulfate free because it feels very gentle on my skin and doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped, tight, or dry after washing.
The ingredients are a huge plus for me, especially the snow mushroom and hyaluronic acid. My skin feels soft, balanced, and hydrated after every use. I’ve also noticed my skin looking healthier overall since adding this into my routine.
Another feature I appreciate is the locking pump, which makes it convenient for travel or storing without worrying about leaks. Overall, this feels like a high-quality everyday cleanser and I’ll definitely continue using it.

Use it for barrier repair and our sensitive skin
This does not remove makeup the best, but my daughter and I use it for barrier repair and our sensitive skin. It helps our skin feel soft and hydrated instead of stripped or tight after washing. Great gentle cleanser for everyday use! This is now part of our monthly subscription because we use it so often.

Love,Love, LOVE This Cleanser – Dry Skin Game-Changer!
I can’t say enough good things about this cleanser. I have very dry, sensitive skin, and it’s hard to find products that cleanse effectively without stripping my skin or leaving it tight and flaky. This one is a total winner! The texture is creamy and gentle almost soothing when applied. After using it, my skin feels clean but still soft and hydrated. No irritation, no tightness, just a beautiful, healthy glow that I haven’t seen from a cleanser in ages. I’ve actually started looking forward to my skincare routine again because of how good my skin feels afterward. Another huge plus? No breakouts.
