The B1 Mallet is designed to extract low bass tones out of your gong. The core of this mallet is a bit softer than their R1 model, which helps to eliminate some of the percussion sound of the mallet striking the gong. The B1 Mallet is light enough to be played for lengthier amounts of time, but still carries the heft that will pull the bass tones out of larger gongs.

We recommend this mallet for gongs 26" and above, Chinese or German style.
