Bart hired on with the Riverton Police Department in May of 1973 and for the next thirty seven years served as a Patrolman, Sergeant, Assistant Chief and School Resource Officer. This book is a collection of some of his experiences as he worked with the people of Riverton. These experiences are by no means unique to him so much as they are a reflection of what any cop on the beat in a small busy Wyoming town will encounter in the course of their career.
