It's powered by a Makita brushless motor for longer run time, increased power and speed and longer tool life. For the most demanding applications, Makita's exclusive Automatic Speed Change Technology automatically adjusts speed and torque during operation for optimal performance. For added convenience, the XAG11Z has an electric brake that stops the wheel in 2-seconds or less upon release of the paddle switch. The XAG11Z is ideal for grinding, cutting and sanding a wide range of materials including tile, concrete, pipe, conduit and more. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. Good Quality, Just Takes Practice
This tongue scraper seems well made and feels sturdy in the hand. I like the dual handle design because it gives a better grip and makes it easier to control while using it. The material also feels durable and easy to rinse clean after each use, which makes it feel like a nice addition to a basic oral care routine.
Since this is new to me, there is definitely a little learning curve. It works fine, but it took me a couple tries to get comfortable with how much pressure to use and the best way to handle it. Once I started getting used to it, it felt easier. I gave it 4 stars because it is good quality and useful, but it does take a little practice at first.

Simple but effective addition to a daily routine. The stainless steel feels sturdy and much nicer than plastic versions, and the dual handles make it easy to control. It cleans well without feeling harsh and rinses off quickly after use. Compact enough to toss in a toiletry bag too. Good basic hygiene tool that does what it’s supposed to.
