The front and back dust jacket images are by the artist Richard Prince. This book was a project conceived by John McWhinnie when he was at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller, in New York.
The stories are illustrated by Terry Richardson's photographs of Los Angeles, with a tipped-in image announcing each section.
