2015 album from the singer/songwriter. Linda came from southern Ireland in the 1980s to a London experimenting with the free thinking sounds of the post punk era and quickly gravitated to the plaintive laments of Kirsty MacColl and other reflective balladeers. This was fuelled by regular road trips home where she continued to share her grandmother's folk singing and accordion playing. Trad and folk were her early imprints and the fascination with the Celtic narrative and the oral traditions of storytelling fed her imagination. Linda spent her early youth in East London and in her late teens studied community arts which fed her imagination and fuelled a love, not only for music but for art, poetry while nodding the cap towards theatre, writers and the written word. This hotbed of soul searching and expression was a conduit for her own growth resulting in a sound and a writing style that is unique, personal and compelling. Linda has enjoyed performing with the dexterous musicians in the East London haunts cultivating a sound that has been described as cross between Melanie Safka and Christy MacVee.

A multifaceted biographical sketch
Format: Hardcover
A complicated personality who felt strongly no one was above the law; having been in Nuremberg in 2025 gave me a different perspective of the man as the prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials. He was meticulous and highly regarded in his career. Excellent read

An admiring but not uncritical portrait of a titan in the rule of law
Format: Hardcover
Professor White delivers an admiring but not uncritical portrait of a man who stood for qualities and principles now in short supply. Jackson was a leading practitioner when other judges were more political, but nevertheless had to speak the language of the rule of law. And his contributions at Nuremberg, haphazardly portrayed in the recent movie, really come through . The United States would help establish a record of epic misdeeds and show that the perpetrators could be punished in a system of justice.
