Wilde Calm Records is honored to present new work from the late Elodie Lauten, New York City-based composer and recipient of the 2014 Robert Rauschenberg Award. Lauten had been exploring microtonality and alternative temperament since the early 1980s, first with a Fairlight CMI synthesizer and more recently with the Klio, her custom modular Reaktor software synthesizer. Many Wilde Calm fans will be familiar with Lauten's music from her numerous collaborations with fellow downtown luminary Arthur Russell. Lauten and Russell met through their mutual poet friend Allen Ginsberg and shared a similar sensibility, evident in their spiritual club classic In the Light of the Miracle and Russell's appearance on Lauten's seminal post-minimalist masterwork The Death of Don Juan. This EP includes five remastered selections from Lauten's 2013 album, Transform, and a Wilde Calm remix. Lauten's synth explorations are essential for fans of Laurie Spiegel and Suzanne Ciani. Limited edition of 500 in hand-stamped and numbered silkscreened jackets with full-color insert and liner notes by Jayson Greene. Cover and insert artwork by Josh Gurrie. 100 copies printed on deluxe white kraft duplex jackets from Portland, Oregon's Stumptown Printers. Slight texture, off-white color, and kraft interior.

Best thing ever!

I had no idea how my dog would react to this. She would play fetch but she seemed to get bored. This Chuck It is probably my dog's favorite toy. I love it because I can actually get the ball a lot further to get her running more. And I love how easy it makes picking up the ball. All in all, this is so worth the little bit of money it is. My dog gets so excited when I ask her if she wants to play with her Chuck It. I'd buy this again and again. This thing saves my arm and back, and my dog gets some serious exercise. Winner winner. I also love how this one folds. I can fit it anywhere to take it along. Really I simply can't say enough good things about this little ball flinger. It's also my favorite thing to play with my pup.

Great for Big and Small Dogs

This launcher is on the smaller side, but it gets the job done! It’s perfect for small dogs and still throws far enough to tire out my golden retriever at the dog park. I thought it might fold while throwing, but it locks in place and holds straight really well. The foldable design makes it easy to carry in a small bag or leave in the car for spontaneous play. Lightweight, compact, and surprisingly sturdy, definitely a must-have if want to have a extra to leave in you car .

Love this! Works great just like the original but it’s easy to fold up and put in bags for travel. Super durable, not flimsy . Balls have the same great bounce. Love the size great for any ball, loving pups, and the owners! Great gift ideas for new puppies. Will buy again for sure.

Not worth it

The orange clasp that locks it in place is super faulty on the one I received. It folds at any point when trying to throw the ball. Not sure if I just got a defective one but I wasn’t a fan. Would rather get one at a pet store just to play it safe
