The Maths, Stats & OR (MSOR) Network supports teaching and learning within mathematics, statistics & operational research, and other disciplines where components of these subjects are taught. The Network works with individual academics, departments, professional bodies, employers and students to develop and share excellent practice that will enhance the learning experience.
From 2001 to 2011, the MSOR Network offered funding for miniprojects investigating teaching and learning. These covered a wide range of areas, including widening participation, e-assessment, and professional development, within the context of the national political agenda in higher education.
For each of the miniprojects included in this book, there is a brief summary of the original aims and the resulting findings. Included at the foot of each, is a link to the outputs and related materials of the miniproject, hosted on the mathstore website.
