In this one volume are clear and thorough instructions on remodeling adobe houses plus how to build an adobe fireplace. Illustrations and practical instructions make working from this book a pleasure. Designed for use by the most inexperienced person as well as the professional builder. Based on 48 years of the author's experience. * * * * * Myrtle Stedman was known as an "Artist in Adobe," designing, building, and remodeling adobe homes under a contractor's license. She was also a well-known artist whose academic training started in 1927 when she was a student in the Houston Museum of Fine Arts school. Her English born husband, Wilfred Stedman, whose background was in architecture as well as in painting and illustrating was recognized as one of the most outstanding artists of the American Southwest. Adobe architecture in New Mexico was one of Wilfred's favorite topics of conversation and Myrtle was instilled with the love of adobes from the moment they were married. After his death in 1950, Myrtle went on to become one of the foremost authorities on adobe construction. Myrtle Stedman was a member of PEN New Mexico, a branch of PEN Center USA West of International PEN and believed that there is no end to what the mind can do with the eye and hand, in time and in spirit. She is also the author of "Artists in Adobe," "A House Not Made With Hands," "Adobe Architecture," "Of One Mind," "Of Things to Come," "Ongoing Life," "Rural Architecture," "The Ups and Downs of Living Alone in Later Life," and "The Way Things Are or Could Be," all from Sunstone Press.Binding Type: Paperback

Functional cheap enough
As described, a tad overpriced, length is good, the end crimps very easily so it doesn't last long, does get warm when you touch it after a long time plugged in, it's functional, we bought several of the same in the past they've all had the same story functional get a little warm the middle part on hooks easily, which does make it hard when you're trying to charge something

Crisp, bright, natural colors. Excellent monitor for the cost.
Size: 24 inch 100Hz
Excellent monitor. Haven't tried the internal speakers since I use amplified speakers and most often a headset through them. So probably an option I may never use anyway, but may test them out just to see how good they are...or how bad.😂
Color is crisp and clear and gave me the screen resolution I needed 1920x1080. Text is clear and legible, graphics are as good as your graphics card will allow, so if you're not using a high end graphics card don't expect this monitor to improve motherboard built-in graphics or older low end graphic cards, that's not the monitors fault, it's your MB or GC that's the problem.
Overall I'm very happy with this monitor and been well worth the price I paid for.
Yes, I'd recommend this monitor.

Awesome as a Computer Monitor—Crisp, Sleek, and Perfect for Daily Use!
Size: 24 inch 100Hz
I'm currently using the Philips 24-inch Frameless Full HD Monitor (1920 x 1080) as my primary computer display, and I must say, it has truly exceeded my expectations. The frameless design lends an elegant, modern aesthetic that seamlessly integrates into any workspace. It not only enhances the visual appeal of my setup but also creates the illusion of a larger screen, all while conserving valuable desk space.
In terms of performance, the picture quality is exceptional. Text appears remarkably sharp, and colors are vibrant and lifelike, which greatly enhances my viewing experience. I’ve spent several hours in front of this monitor, whether working on projects, enjoying movies, or juggling multiple applications, and I’ve found that it minimizes eye strain—something I greatly appreciate during long days of use.
Considering the price point, this monitor truly stands out in both quality and design. If you’re in the market for a reliable and stylish monitor that performs exceptionally well for everyday computer tasks, I wholeheartedly recommend this Philips model as a fantastic choice. Excellent response time.

Great Monitor Great Price.
Size: 24 inch 100Hz
Great Monitor for the price. It has a vibrate color and very easy to set up. This replaced my old worn out Monitor.
The only downside is you have to look hard in the user manual to find it in English. it's in several several languages.
over all you cain't beat it for the price.
