2018 release. Tenor saxophonist JD Allen's output on Savant Records has been steady since his 2012 album The Matador and the Bull, and this beautiful and intensely interesting ballads album is an assured milestone in his career to date. There are patented JD-isms: that almost operatic-like swoon and smear of tone; deconstructed themes full of non-linearity and melodic asides arriving unforeseen. As in all of Allen's recordings, there is also a spare Chopin-like quality, with a shadowy, crepuscular character to much of the material. An album made up entirely of ballads requires a first-rate harmonic foundation and guitarist Liberty Ellman once again proves himself to be the most sensitive of accompanists, alternating between full harmonic richness and skittering, almost pointillistic lines which merely hint at the harmonies. The depth of Allen's timbre and phrasing is such that the absence of a keyboard is not really felt, and his quartet proves again that it is one of the most highly accomplished small groups in contemporary jazz.

Funny toys
Size: Critter Zoo, Color: 5 Different Animals
Fun toy for our 90 pound doodle, but don’t expect them to last forever. Goofy eyes and features make it a fun toy. If a big dog sits down with it, they will be able to pull it apart. The bird lasted about 5 days with solid supervision. Let’s be honest, no toy is indestructible. The price and number of funny creatures makes this a good buy in my opinion.

From the Amazon listing, Nocciola promises “Durability Guaranteed” and “Expert Craftsmanship,” boasting multi‑layer composite fabric, chew‑resistant construction, and meticulous stitching.
Yeah… about that.
Within the first ten minutes, the giraffe’s squeaker gave up the ghost. By the thirty‑minute mark, one of our puppies had already liberated one of its appendages and was preparing to eat it. When I took the giraffe away, he immediately redirected his enthusiasm toward the mallard and removed a wing.
Our other puppy went straight for the Red‑Headed Chicken’s throat. She succeeded. She was also making impressive progress on opening the back of its neck.
At that point, all three toys had to be confiscated, and the remaining two are still sitting in the box untouched because I value my dogs’ digestive tracts.
To be fair, the toys sound fantastic—literally. My puppies adored the squeaks, honks, and crinkles. They had a blast tossing them around and sprinting through the house. But the moment they settled down for a chew session, it was game over.
I’m genuinely disappointed that these toys require constant supervision to prevent accidental ingestion, and that my dogs can’t safely enjoy them the way they’re meant to.
If your dogs chew even a little, these toys are not worth the investment.

These things were good for the first 45 minutes than my dog ripped it apart. Buy the variety pack it helps to keep the dog happy.
