The Fury III is engineered for facilities that demand both durability and flexibility. It's an excellent choice for recreation centers, schools, and churches where court space is shared and player ages vary. Adjusting the hoop is straightforward and secure; a simple hand crank smoothly lowers the rim from the regulation 10' all the way down to 6'6" for younger players. This direct-drive mechanism provides a much more rigid and stable feel at all heights compared to common spring-assisted systems, eliminating wobble during shots. When it's time to clear the floor, the Fury III is designed for easy transport, allowing one person to roll it into position or storage without assistance.
Performance and safety are built into every component. The system features a responsive 36"x54" acrylic backboard paired with an FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal, ready to stand up to competitive action. To prevent backboard damage, the rim is mounted directly to the extension arm, not the backboard itself, transferring the force of dunks safely through the steel structure. The base is fully padded on the front to protect players, and it requires 540 pounds of internal ballast (sold separately) to create an exceptionally stable foundation for play.
