Colossus Tricolor Pansy is a vigorous perennial with a dense and tight, non-stretching habit and dark green leaves.  The extra large upward facing flowers are deep violet with a halo around the dark blotch that is white at top and yellow at bottom and bloom from fall through spring in mild winters.  Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soils. The Colossus series has improved heat and humidity tolerance and can tolerate a hard freeze if the soil is not dry, otherwise may experience dieback in harsh winters to return in spring.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance.  Water regularly- keep soil moisture consistent.  Susceptible to fugal leaf damage. Watch for snails and slugs.  Deadheading can prolong bloom season.
