SpeedFactory Racing 4140 Head Stud Kit for Honda/Acura B & K Series (B Series VTEC engines - B16A, B18C1, B18C5, B20VTEC, LSVTEC, K20, K24)

The SpeedFactory Racing 4140 Head Stud Kit is great for most forced induction applications up to 800+HP and includes oversized forged nuts & washers for superior load distribution. A hex broach is incorporated on the top of the stud for ease of installation and a dog point end seats the stud in the block and preloads the fastener for consistent & accurate torqing.

  • 210,000 psi tensile rating
  • Hex broach on the top of the stud for ease of installation
  • Dog point design for superior preload
  • Oversized forged 9/16” 12-point nuts and hardened parallel ground washers for superior load distribution compared to the smaller 1/2” nuts and washers most use
  • Direct drop-in replacement for OEM head bolts.
  • Corrosion-resistant black oxide coating
  • Each kit includes a complete set of 4140 head studs, nuts, washers and ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly Lubricant.

It's great that veterinarians approve this product as one of the safer options for pets. It smells good and it does the job as good or better than others I've tried. The reason I won't continue to use it is that it is a heavy liquid and when you spray it into the air, falls to your floor very quickly. On tile, it leaves a shiny oily "wet" patch that can make the tile slippery which is dangerous and on carpet, since it is oily, I assume that dirt will quickly adhere to those areas forcing a carpet cleaning in a short amount of time. I happen to have cream carpet.
