The AEM 22-401R Performance Short Ram Air Intake System has been engineered to be an affordable and easy way to boost the horsepower and torque of your engine. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced with this AEM air intake system. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The sound your engine makes when accelerating is also modified to a fuller, more aggressive resonance allowing you to hear and feel the horsepower upgrade. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable red powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the engine breather hose, vacuum lines and inlet air temperature sensor (where equipped). The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Good stuff

Good stuff. I did a lot of work on my 91 Toyota Land Cruiser 3FE. I did the inside and outside doors, as well as the under-hood area, with some extra work. I like this stuff. It sticks down good but you have to clean your surface so there's a good grip. I think these are going to do well for noise cancellation. The deadening material does well with absorbing vibrations too. But the install roller tools it will come in handy. Trust me trying to do it by hand is not worth it.

Good material but bites back

Very good product for my rear trunk and backseat on my mustang. I would recommend some type of gloves due to the foil itself when placing down will cut up your hands and fingers. Overall good product for its price.

This sound deading material has a good thickness to it. It seems like the cab of the truck is cooler inside from the heat of the motor. It’s easy to install and easy to cut with a razor blade. The quality it’s an 8/10 the only complaint I have is the adhesion will stick to your fingers if you are touching it when you peel the backing paper off. It stick to the truck great tho. It covered the entire floor and back wall of a single cab truck.
