Overview

The Fernco SC115 100-115mm shear banded coupling is designed to connect or repair low-pressure pipelines such as sewer, stormwater, and wastewater systems. The coupling is suitable for pipes with an outer diameter range of 100–115 mm. When compared with standard rubber pipe joiners, the shear banded coupling incorporates an additional reinforced stainless steel shear band positioned at the centre.

The Fernco shear banded coupling is made from flexible EPDM rubber or nitrile rubber and fitted with 316 grade stainless steel clamps, ensuring durability, elasticity, and stable long-term performance. The shear band helps protect the joint against corrosive environments, reduces the impact of shear forces caused by vibration, soil movement, or surface loading, and assists in maintaining consistent flow alignment inside the pipeline.

The Fernco SC shear banded coupling range is WaterMark licensed for use in Australia and can be used with compatible rubber bushes (sold separately) when connecting dissimilar pipe materials.

We got this toy to replace an earlier purchase for a rope/squeak toy after finding he loved a holiday purchase by an Aunt which squeaked but was not really meant for tugging/heavy playing like he wanted too, for our half pug/schnauzer Mr. Pug. Compared to the first toy and the attempted replacement he ADORES this toy! As you can see in the above picture he has truly laid his claim to it! The interior padding is durable it seems, and holes where the rope come out have a heavy duty padding for the target dog audience like ours in preventing him from chewing or tearing it up. The crinkly ears were also an enjoyable surprise for him, and the squeaker can move around the torso area of the toy keeping him actively looking for it when he desires it. All in all we would certainly get another toy like this in the future.

Great wrestle or chewing toy for your pet.
