A rare expression of refinement, Mugenzo by AOI Seicha is an elegant, ceremonial-grade matcha that invites you to slow down and savor the present moment. Grown in the famed tea fields of Uji, Kyoto—Japan’s spiritual home of matcha—Mugenzo is crafted from the first harvest of tender spring leaves, shade-cultivated to concentrate rich umami and ground slowly into a silky, vibrant green powder. Available exclusively at Ujicha Matcha, this blend speaks to those who value tradition, artistry, and quiet luxury.

Upon whisking, Mugenzo reveals a layered, sophisticated flavor profile: a deep, velvety umami balanced by subtle natural sweetness and a whisper of astringency that gives it structure without overpowering. Its creamy texture and lingering finish make it ideal for both usucha (thin tea) and koicha (thick tea) preparations. For a modern ritual, it also lends itself beautifully to matcha lattes—though purists will appreciate it best in its purest form.

What makes Mugenzo truly special is its ability to bridge depth and delicacy, complexity and calm. Whether you're starting your morning with intention or winding down with a quiet moment of clarity, this matcha is a grounded yet elevated companion in your wellness journey.

Flavor Notes: Deep umami, soft natural sweetness, faint astringency
Aroma: Fresh, creamy, and grassy with a warm vegetal richness
Origin: Uji, Kyoto, Japan
Harvest: First harvest, shade-grown
Ideal Preparation: Usucha, koicha, premium lattes
Texture: Lush, smooth, frothy finish
Exclusively available at Ujicha Matcha, Mugenzo is more than a tea—it's a daily ritual in a cup.

Wish I had bought long ago
Was surprised how easy it was to use. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Foil cutter, & opener itself was a breeze-especially for a first-time user. Wish I had bought this long ago. I'll keep the handheld opener as an emergency back up, but this device is the way to go. Great idea for gift giving

Great crowd pleaser
This product does what it is intended to do. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because when the opener is near the end of opening a bottle, it seems that the battery is dieing out but it has never failed to open a bottle. The aerator is wonderful and very impactful to the flavor of your wine. The charger/stand is nice and looks good on the counter. Love the built in charger feature.

Replacement for the older model - so far, so good
I had the previous version of this and the battery wore out after a couple of years. This one seems to be working very well so far. It's simple to use. Cut the wine bottle foil with the included cutter and just push the opener down on the top of the bottle. The screw automatically inserts in the cork, pulling it form the bottle, and then reverses itself to eject the cork. Unlike the old version, there's no button to press, it's all automatic. Flip the opener over and use the included airtight tops when you want to recork the bottle: it will vacuum out all the air in the bottle to prevent spoilage. Makes a great gift for a "wine enthusiast".

This is a really nice gift set
It’s a nice little wine gift set. Got it for myself after taking more interest in wine and wanted to get the kinda experience you get at a winery but at my own home Would suggest for any beginner friendly gift set and it doesn’t take up a lot of space either
