Rainbow 7 est un jeu de cartes fun, rapide, malin et coloré dont on enchaîne les parties sans se rendre compte du temps qui passe.

Le deck est composé de 7 suites de cartes numérotées de 1 à 7 en 7 couleurs différentes, et de 4 cartes joker (les Rainbow). Chaque joueur reçoit en début de manche 6 cartes + une carte 7. À son tour on peut défausser des cartes en faisant des combinaisons, avant de piocher 1 carte. Une combinaison peut être un ensemble de 3 cartes ou plus de même valeur, une suite de 3 cartes ou plus de même couleur, ou une carte seule. On peut aussi annoncer un Rainbow si la valeur totale de sa main est inférieure à 7. Ou mieux, réaliser un Perfect en posant toutes les cartes de sa main.

Quand on joue un 7 (seul ou dans une combinaison) on peut appliquer sa capacité spéciale (faire piocher une carte, distribuer un pion pluie, etc.).

Au fil des manches, les perdants vont récupérer des jetons Pluie. Si, à un quelconque moment en possède 7, la partie est terminée et le joueur en ayant le moins est vainqueur.
