The psychology of colour is based on the mental and emotional effects colours have on sighted people in all facets of life. The brighter and lighter the colour, the more happy and optimistic it will make you feel.

Happy colours are bright, warm colours like yellow, orange, pink and red. Pastel colours like peach, light pink or lilac can also have an uplifting effect on your mood. Cool colours like blue and green can make you feel calm. Pastel colours, particularly cool-toned pastels like baby blue, lilac and mint have a calming and relaxing effect.

The figures represent ones personal journey with the last figure looking back to see how far you’ve come… The white untouched paper line throughout my paintings represents ‘White light’ - White light is the space within the universe that houses positive energies. White light can be called upon by anyone for assistance, healing, and protection from negative energies.
