The kit is made for stock Losi 2.0 brake hardware and pads, but we recommend the Detroit Performance Upgrade Losi 5ive 2.0 & TLR 5B Brake Kit
The recommended Setup from testing for overall value for money and reliability of the drivetrain was the Hobbywing Max5 kit wth 56mm motors running 8 to 12S, but there is a Max4 with 70mm motors option if you really want to go wild!
