Just who are the Five O'Clock Heroes? the short answer is that they're the two parts British, two parts American band whose take on the late-70's jerk-pop mastery of the likes of Joe Jackson and Elvis Costello has been causing a quiet stir on both sides of the atlantic, and have now set their long-gestating debut album, 'bend to the breaks', out into the world. A record so riddled with post-punk infectiousness, it should come bearing it's own std warning!!!! Sparsely recorded on their own buck in former smashing pumpkin James Iha's New York studio, 'bend to the breaks' is a jerking, jittery post-punk meister work that's less concerned with aspirations of skuzzy NY cool and concentrates instead on the multi-faceted delights of razor-sharp pop song-writing, with doffs of the cap to the likes of the cars and - gasp! - the police. Support slots with the rakes, Brendan Benson (the Greenhornes / the raconteurs), the bravery, jet and Slbert Hammond jr. Have ensured their music has reached a considerable audience. Solid groundwork has been laid with a huge national competition to design a brand new album cover for the band. Congratulations to our winner Jack Breukelaar. Jack's artwork will feature on the first pressing of albums and will be included in all marketing for the album. I absolutely love the Saltair line of products!
Scent: Sandalwood
I used the body wash at a friend's house and fell in love, especially with the Santal Bloom scent! This body oil is just so amazing and feels so silky and soft. It's especially effective if you use it right out of the shower. It adds a beautiful glow and I even use a little in my hair. It's quite concentrated so a little goes a long way. I have even mixed it into my favorite coconut oil and it mixes beautifully. Don't sleep on this line!

Smells great
Scent: Golden Hour
Love this, my favorite scent from this line. Very subtle glitter so I still feel age appropriate. It’s an oil soy skin does feel oily for a little bit afterwards until it soaks in. It has lasted me quite awhile so I do feel it’s good value for the money. Have reordered a few times.

Great Glow and Scent, But Fades Quickly and Runs Out Fast
Scent: Vanilla
The Saltair Shimmering Body Oil in Salt Water Vanilla is a beautiful product.
The only 3 reasons I don’t give it 5 stars are because:
1. The shimmer is not very long-lasting. When I apply it before bed, most of the shimmer effect is completely gone and absorbed by my sheets by the morning. I assume pants and leggings would absorb it in the same way, but I’ve only ever worn shorts after applications during the day, and even then, the shimmer seems to fade after 4–6 hours.
2. I have to apply a lot of oil to achieve the amount of shimmer I desire. It averages about 20–25 pumps per use.
3. The 4-ounce bottle size, combined with needing a lot of product for each application, means I’m going to run out of it pretty quickly.
Here’s why I like this product:
1. The glow: If you’re looking for a subtle glow and a light shimmer effect, this oil is perfect for you; apply it before a night out, while wearing a swimsuit, or when going to the gym in your favorite workout set for a beautiful gleam.
2. The scent: It’s a divine, warm mix of sweet and spicy notes. It smells like vanilla, amber, and toasted marshmallow. It pairs really nicely with tropical, woodsy, sweet, or spicy perfumes—it’s very versatile.
3. Consistency and absorption: The oil absorbs nicely and has a light, runny consistency. Because it’s a dry oil, it isn’t too thick, nor does it leave a sticky feeling on the skin.
4. How my skin feels: I’ve used this oil 4 nights in a row, and every single morning I wake up, my skin feels so soft and smooth, with no residual stickiness or residue left behind.

Buy it you won’t be disappointed
Scent: Sandalwood
I love it already and I haven’t applied it directly to my full body after a shower as instructed but from what I did apply it’s whatever it says it is . It eats down ok, skin softness, moisturizing , the shimmer is just enough , the scent is soft and smells incredibly great. Smells like a fresh shower lol it’s not thick consistency at all and just the right amount of oiliness to add shine to the body. I can’t wait to use this product fully .
