The central figure is a seated female nude queen, adorned with a jeweled crown, ancient Roman-style gold and gem-studded jewelry, and draped in a sheer diaphanous wrap.

The queen extends gold chains to a partly nude female supplicant kneeling before her. Behind them stand two imposing Orientalist male figures, acting as ceremonial guardians. The painting is filled with rich detail, warm tones, and a regal atmosphere.
