The AirTac Customs EDGE grip for AEG is here!For a while, the speedsoft M4 trend has been moving towards HPA rifles with grip-bottle adapter.
Here's a first; a fully CNC machined motorgrip with an integrated battery stock.
It's a very unique and expensive design. The motorgrip is machined from 1 piece of aluminium, with a secondary adapter piece that is also machined aluminium.
The whole design is incredibly sturdy.
I think this is only the second machined AEG grip i've seen during the years. It is incredibly expensive to machine a grip from 1 block of aluminium, so it is neither common nor cheap.
From an AEG tech perspective, the CNC aluminium grip helps with transporting heat away from the motor during operation.
In addition to both being cool and looking cool, this grip also has an attached carbon fiber tube that acts as battery space and stock.
As the grip and stock is CNC aluminium / Carbon fiber, it has no flex and will not break during usage like a normal 3D printed stock grip potentially could.
Altough this is designed for AEG, you can also run HPA with it, if you run an external line like normal AEG to HPA conversion.
The battery space is fairly big and will fit a good size battery that can last the whole day.
Compatibility notes:
Because the battery is wired behind the motor, you will potentially need to do re-wiring of the AEG.
And altough the grip is confirmed to work with G&G style AEG lowers, there is always a risk of changing the motor engagement when replacing grips.
This product requires technical expertise to install.
