Laura Mercier Creme Eye Detail Brush

Designed for precision application of creme eye colour products. Specifically designed to allow for intricate eye detail, the pointed tip allows for absolute precision. Highlight specific parts of the lid with the tip or flatten the bristles in order to have perfect control of the creme colour.
Laura's artistry techniques and the flawless face are the foundation of the brand.
PRODUCT PICK UP AND LAY DOWN
- Creme will naturally adhere to synthetic fibers. For best results using any type of pressed powder, press bristles into powder to pick-up the powder.
- Next, press brush onto back of hand to work the powder into the brush. This will ensure powder is loaded into bristles and minimize fallout.
- Gently tap brush once on back of hand to shake off any excess product.
- Tap and press loaded bristle all over area first. After product has been placed, then blend.
HAND POSITION
For Precise and Detailed Application
- Hold brush at the center of handle or closer to the ferrule. Pinch brush handle between thumb and middle finger.
- For added control, also use pointer finger with a light touch on handle, this will act more as a "guide" during application. It should feel like you're balancing the brush.
To Blend and Diffuse
- Hold brush with a loose grip, close to the end of handle and lightly pinch between thumb, pointer and middle finger. This will provide the most "painterly" result.
BRUSH CARE
- Cleanse as needed with Laura's Brush Cleanser or mild shampoo and warm water.
- When cleaning brushes with shampoo and water, gently squeeze water through the hair, going from base to tip. Rinse thoroughly.
- Dip or spray Brush in Brush Cleanser and remove makeup with a tissue. Repeat if necessary. Reshape to original form.
- To protect your brush fibers, pick up product and cleanse in the direction of the hair; never "swirl" or harshly rub brushes on any surface
- Shape and allow to air dry on a flat surface. Do not stand brushes on end to dry.

This details what the average citizen may need to do when the local or state law enforcement won't protect your rights and what
Format: Paperback
If you are a second amendment supporter or if you are an African-American who wonders "What does all this second amendment stuff mean to me anyway?", you need to read this book. This doesn't take place in 'ancient' American history when only those on the frontiers needed to keep arms for hunting and protection or for the gentleman walking through 18th or early 19th century America, this is from America, the 1960's. This details what the average citizen may need to do when the local or state law enforcement won't protect your rights and what it is like to live, as a minority, during that type of time (and 'minority' may change as the winds of political strength changes). The movie about the same topic gives you only a taste. Enlarge your mind.

Review of Deacons for Defense
Format: Paperback
I found this book to be extremely informative about the Deacons. I was in Monroe ,LA in 1965 as a staff lawyer for the Lawyers Constitutional Defense Committee. We represented Deacons in various instances. This history filled in innumerable gaps in my knowledge of the Deacons. To the extent of my recollection the facts and analysis seemed accurate to me. This book is recommended for anyone with an interest in acquiring a full understanding of important civil rights organizations which contributed to the Movement in the '60's'

I love this book
Format: Paperback
I love this book. Some of the incidents took place in my home town of Jonesboro, LA. I knew many of the men (and women) who risked their lives to take a stand for racial equality. CORE's Jonesboro Freedom House (although it is vacant) still stands today, and its structure has not changed. This house, along with many of the pictures of individuals, are shown between pages 107 & 108 of the book. I shared this information with some of my students. They were quite surprised that our small town was a part of History!

Funny, Interesting, Informative!
Format: Paperback
I hiked the PCT in 2016 and I wish this had been available then. There are a lot of misconceptions about the desert section of the PCT (first 700ish miles) being flat, monotonous, and unpleasant. Even once you are out on the trail hiking through varied terrain, it is hard to shake off the "desert mentality" that comes from listening to those misconceptions. One of the reasons I love this book is because of how well the author paints an accurate picture of the beauty and constantly changing scenery the desert has to offer. All the information you would expect from a guide book is here, including mileage, water sources, elevation, etc. There are also a TON of photos that will make you question why you spend anytime indoors. I mean this literally. This book is worth buying for pictures of the Sierra sections alone. The damn near turn by turn navigation descriptions of each section are also a good reason for your purchase. The author is funny. I wanted to say that in a funny way but she's funny enough so if you want to chuckle, wait for the book. Her passion for the PCT seeps through her writing and it is impossible not to feel equally enthusiastic. On a multi-day (or multi-month) hike, that enthusiasm is almost as important as your next water source...except not..but ALMOST.
