The Warrior Savior, A Theology of the Work of ChristIn this stirring biblical theology of atonement, Owen Strachan turns our gaze to the biblical Jesusthe greater David, a mighty king who comes in the power of God to save sinners and destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3: 8). In this stirring biblical theology of atonement, Owen Strachan turns our gaze to the biblical Jesus—the greater David, a mighty king who comes in the power of God to save sinners and destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). The true Jesus is the most fascinating subject in all history: he is Lamb and Lion, gentle and ferocious, divine yet a humble servant. All these graces bear down on one moment in time: the cross. The Warrior Savior brings together strands of doctrine that are too often separated, notably penal substitutionary atonement and Christus Victor. Instead of arguing for an unweighted blend of “models” or “theories” of the cross, Strachan argues that the cross accomplishes a propitiatory atonement, which in turn secures the defeat of the dread foe of God’s people, Satan. Throughout the book, he weaves in rich devotional and spiritual commentary, focusing on the love of God as the chief message of the cross of Christ. The result is a vivid, dramatic, and inspiring study of the most important salvific event ever to occur.

______________

“Strachan does not offer us dry and detached scholarship. He writes with the heart of a pastor-theologian concerned to bring theology to the person in the pew—where theology belongs. The Warrior Savior is a deeply edifying work of theology for those who want to grow deeper in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by studying his atoning work on the cross.” Scott Christensen, Author, What about Evil? and What about Free Will?

These are very pretty. The perfect size for any age ear. Really girly. They don't hurt the ears and they are not too heavy. Nice and light.

These little butterfly Earrings are the perfect touch of personality for your ears. I got these for a friend's birthday and she's worn them every day since. When I picked these up, they were advertised as sterling silver which was a necessity for her ears. She hasnt had any issues and she hasn't had to take them out at all. The clasps are your average butterfly backing. And she did note that the back came off during sleep one night but it could be she is a hard sleeper. Other than that, they are secure. They are larger studs. Not awful large or gaudy. But people have noticed and complimented on them. They add that perfect touch of whimsy without exclaiming give me attention. Perfect to dress up or down and birthstones match anything after all!

Cute little butterflies!
Color: 10.Oct(Pink Tourmaline), Color: 10.Oct(Pink Tourmaline)
I got these for my daughter who just recently got her ears pierced for the first time. Since she is so young, I decided to try them first to see how well they handle. First, I was very impressed that they included plastic and metal backs. There’s also a nice little baggie to put the earrings in when they’re not in use. Second, my ears are very sensitive, which was a concern with wearing these, but after a few hours, they seemed to be fine still. Usually, after a few hours, I have to take earrings out. I could have worn these for longer and been OK. Last they are super cute! They match the description and color perfectly! I was very impressed. I could definitely see myself buying another pair. The earrings were also very good size not too big and not too small. Perfect for adult or child.

These really are so cute--the purple color of the butterfly really stands out and when I'm wearing them, I can't even tell that I have them on.

Perfect. A must have!
Size: XX-Large, Color: Nude
Perfect fit! After 2 battles with breast cancer and breast reconstruction I find it very difficult to find strapless or any bra for that matter that fit and are comfortable … this bra not only fits it stays put! I have purchased some pricey ones in the past but this gives a lot of bang for your buck. I also love the fact it stays in place- has rubber like adhesive that sticks to your skin and has no wires. I feel mangled after basically being amputated by a double mastectomy- I worry about the bra falling down exposing the fact I have no “nips” because cancer took all that away from me. Additionally, I like that it comes with removable straps for adjustability for extra support if needed. The quality seems to be good but I have yet to wash, just like any bra - gentle cycle wash and a flat air dry will extend the life of the bra.
