The most tender cut of beef as its protected by the sirloin ribs and does no real movement. Served either as a roast or cut into steaks, the chateaubriand is cut from the head of the fillet. This is the steak lovers favourite especially as it’s the perfect steak feast for 2!
The chateaubriand is trimmed as much as possible however there might still be a little fat as it’s cut from the head of the fillet.
