This is the most complete electrolyte product on the market.

Refresh. Restore. Rehydrate.

Electrolytes are necessary for hydration, energy, recovery, and mental clarity.

They power our nervous system, regulate our water levels, allow our cells to function, and are key to protein synthesis, recovery, and even brain function.

And they're vital for fat loss.

Lack of electrolytes can cause dizziness, cramps, headaches, exhaustion, mental confusion, and even affect our heartbeat.

But they are exact minerals and they're needed by the body in exact ratios.

Too much of one and not enough of another can actually exacerbate the problems they're supposed to address.

In fact, the wrong ratio can even cause dehydration and bloating, not to mention fat gain and slower recoveries.

PERFECT AMINO™ Electrolytes are precisely formulated for complete intracellular absorption in the exact ratios needed to maximize hydration of the cells so they can fully recover and operate at peak efficiency.

But we go beyond this, adding in 2g of PERFECT AMINO™ per serving of electrolytes, and this is important.

Essential amino acids are needed by our cells to fully utilize the electrolytes received. We cannot get the maximum benefit of electrolytes without our cells receiving essential amino acids at the same time.

No other electrolyte product has this.

PERFECT AMINO™ Electrolytes is also free of the sugars, caffeine, colorants, and toxins other formulas use to make up for poor ratios.

It contains no Gluten, Soy, Dairy, Sugar, or Erythritol, and 100% Vegan.

PERFECT AMINO™ Electrolytes is the complete electrolyte recovery solution.

HOW ELECTROLYTES WORK: ENERGY, HYDRATION & CELLULAR HEALTH
Most people think of electrolytes as something to take when they're dehydrated. And this is true.

But there's much more to it than that.

The amount of water in our cells directly corresponds to our cell's ability to take in oxygen and nutrients with which to create energy, and to expel waste.

They regulate both the amount of water in our cells, and whether or not to take in more water or let water out.

Salt allows water in and holds it, and potassium releases it.

If we have too much salt, we get bloating. But if we have too little salt then we can drink more and more water, but our cells can't take it in.

If we have too little potassium we also have bloating, as it doesn't let the water out. Too much potassium and too little salt and we can drink to hydrate but our cells push the water back out.

They must remain in balance for the proper water in/water out system of our cells.

But when we sweat on a hot day or during a workout or run, we lose electrolytes through our sweat.

This can lead to either bloating or dehydration and affects our recovery ability, energy levels, nerve and brain function, and even our heart.

This is so much the case that just a 2% drop in body fat from loss of fluid can significantly lower athletic performance, bringing on tiredness, headaches, slow recovery from workouts, brain fog and irregular heartbeat.

And we get at least a 2% drop every time we work out or go for a long run. That's part of the tiredness afterwards, it's not just, "being tired after a workout."

But only drinking water doesn't fix this. You could drink all the water in the world and still be dehydrated.

In fact, when you are dehydrated, drinking only water can actually dehydrate you more as it flushes out even more of our electrolytes.

And, as electrolytes regulate our cell's water in/water out process, they're what allow nutrients and oxygen to enter the cell and toxic waste to be released.

If this doesn't happen to the degree it needs to then waste builds up inside the cell, causing free radicals to form, raising cortisol, causing cellular injury and decreasing protein synthesis for muscle building and recovery.

And without two electrolytes, magnesium and calcium, our mitochondria (the tiny organelles that take in oxygen and nutrients to create the energy our cells use) couldn't even produce energy in the first place, leading to lower energy levels, exhaustion, and slow recovery.

But electrolytes do more.

ELECTROLYTES AND THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
Our body is just one big conglomeration of trillions of cells. And for it to operate at all, these cells need to be able to communicate with each other and with the brain.

Some 20,000,000,000,000,000 bits of data are transmitted along our nerves every second.

And electrolytes are what allow these signals to be passed back and forth.

But these electrical charges are moving at a couple hundred miles per hour. And this speed is different for different areas or depending on the activity the body is engaged in.

Everything depends on these signals moving at the speeds needed: our heart, our blood flow, our muscles, our ability to move and how fast we can move or react, our ability to think, the proper functioning of each of our organs, our endurance, our ability to recover, protein synthesis, fat break down, and much more.

And this is where many of the other electrolytes come in. While our nervous system controls every aspect of our body, our nerves are not connected strands, they're millions of individual cells called neurons.

And electrolytes and neurotransmitters help pass the messages from one neuron to another. Without these, or if these are low, we get less or slower communication going from our brain (the largest nerve), down our nervous system, and to every part of our body.

So when this system breaks down it can bring on a wide range of "unexplainable" symptoms:

Irregular heartbeat, fast heart rate, fatigue and lethargy, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, abdominal cramping, muscle cramping, muscle weakness, irritability, confusion, headaches and even numbness or tingling.

In short, it's a lot more than just being thirsty.

Ensuring we maintain proper levels of electrolytes ensures our nerves and cells have what they need to stay hydrated, create energy and operate at peak efficiency and action.

A must-read for my black queer ladies
Format: Paperback
This book delivered from start to finish. As a black, queer woman, it is hard to find relatable sapphic romance novels, so I was delighted to read this one. My thoughts are below in no particular order: I loved all the cultural references and the way the author describes these beautiful characters. The author did a great job developing the characters and the storyline. The enemy to crush to lover theme was a refreshing reprieve from the typical friends to lovers storyline I see so much in sapphic romance novels. The characters are very interesting - I was glad to see the author go with comic artists rather than your typical cliche careers. Both of the main characters, Noah and Sage, have very different upbringings, and each has her own personal issues going on in the background that they have to work through. This helped a lot with character development and I felt like I really got to know these ladies. The romance scenes are spicy and I was here for it! Some authors tend to dance around the love scenes, but this author did not spare any of the sultry details, using a chapter and a half to describe one encounter. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this book enough. It had me turning the pages all weekend long!

Sapphic Yearning at Its Best
Format: Paperback
4.5⭐️ rounded up Set in the same world as Rebekah Faubion’s debut THE LOVERS, we follow Cadence Connelly, park ranger and daughter of the enigmatic Madame Moira, as she finds out that her too-wild-to-be-tamed mother is getting married after only knowing the man for a few months. She travels home for the first time in years in an attempt to save the man from what she believes to be a con, only to find herself entranced by the man’s daughter, Sydney Sinclair. Sydney is also wildly suspicious of the engagement as she believed herself to be incredibly close with her father and it came as a complete surprise. The pair enter in a scheme to get to the bottom of the whirlwind engagement, but the chemistry between them may prove to be more of a distraction than they originally believed. It is not a secret that I was deeply obsessed with Rebekah Faubion’s debut and I’m happy to report that that love carries into her sophomore novel—no slump here! Returning to this very contemporary world that is coated in the mystical was like coming home. The love and care Rebekah gave her debut continues to shine as she tells Cadence and Sydney’s story and allowed me to immediately become attached to them. It’s clear from the start that these two women carry trauma from their childhood, but they have been wildly independent as they’ve grown up. The chemistry between them is constantly sizzling just under the surface and it is everything I could have asked for when I think of sapphic yearning. Cadence as a character stood out to me especially as a fellow daughter who felt like their mother controlled many aspects of her life. While our worlds are incredibly different, I felt every part of Cadence’s journey through the story—with the way she felt the need to run away and rebel against Moira to the eventual (if still slightly strained) acceptance of her behavior. If you’ve read THE LOVERS, you’ll be happy to see a few familiar faces return to the page as happy and in love as they were when we left them. I had a deep hope that we’d get a cameo or two, but it was still a pleasant surprise to actually see it happen. And the way Rebekah was able to weave them into the actual plot of this standalone story is masterful, allowing new readers and old alike to experience the story in much the same way. And, of course, we can’t not talk about Chicken. Chicken is perfect and wonderful and stole the show. He is living his best life and making us all fall in love with him from start to finish. We stan Chicken. Disclaimer: I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher for free and have voluntarily written this review.

Tender, sexy, and a little magical in the best way
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I think I just found a new favorite author because The Sun and the Moon by Rebekah Faubion had me hooked. Cadence and Sydney’s parents suddenly get engaged after just a few months of dating and neither of them are thrilled. Cadence’s estranged mother is a well known psychic who once told her exactly how she’d meet her soulmate… and meeting Sydney feels way too familiar. Sydney’s close to her dad and skeptical of this fast moving relationship. The two of them team up to figure out what their parents are hiding, and the deeper they dig, the stronger the tension between them becomes. Oh and how can I forget the one bed scene I loved the partners-in-crime vibe, the bisexual rep, and the immediate chemistry between Cadence and Sydney. Their chemistry felt natural — flirty, sweet, and emotionally rich in a way that made me root for them instantly. The banter had me smiling, blushing and I loved how they challenged each other while still offering comfort and understanding. Plus? Sydney’s a pilot. Cadence is a park ranger. The vibes are IMMACULATE. ⭐️ 4.5 stars This book completely delivered. If you love queer romance with emotional depth, a little mystery, and characters that feel real, add this to your TBR immediately.

4-stars: 'The Sun and the Moon' by Rebekah Faubion
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
I enjoyed reading The Lovers last year and was eager to read Rebekah’s new book, The Sun and the Moon. Gorgeous covers always draw me in, and both books have stunning designs. After reading the synopsis, I knew I would enjoy this one. I love stories where opposites attract and soulmates are destined to meet. I loved getting to know Cadence and Sydney as they met at their parents’ engagement party. Cadence doesn’t have a close relationship with her mother, but she tries to find out if her mom is up to no good. She meets Sydney, whose father is marrying Cadence’s mother. Sydney is curious about her father’s quick engagement and agrees to help Cadence uncover the truth and possibly stop the wedding. As they spend time together, their undeniable connection grows, suggesting their meeting was fate. I enjoyed this Sapphic Romance and its engaging storyline. The chemistry between Cadence and Sydney was enthralling. I understood both characters’ skepticism about their parents’ wedding. Cadence’s concerns about her mother felt clear, and while investigating, she also becomes protective when it comes to her mother’s business. I understood Sydney, too, who simply wants to protect her father, whom she admires. Both struggle with their parents getting married at first, but ultimately become closer to each other and their parents as truths are revealed. The book focuses heavily on Cadence’s mother, sometimes overshadowing other elements. Still, I enjoyed the soulmates storyline between Cadence and Sydney. Overall, this book earns four stars from me, and I look forward to reading more by Rebekah Faubion. Single/Dual POV: Dual POV. Would I recommend this book? Yes. If you like Sapphic Romance with two FMCs who are opposites and destined to meet, I definitely recommend The Sun and The Moon. What to Expect: ✓Sapphic Romance ✓Opposites Attract ✓One Bed ✓Soulmates

Not for me
Format: Kindle
🔆Bookish Thoughts This one just didn’t work for me. I really struggled to connect with either of the FMCs, and I found the pacing incredibly slow. So much of the story focused on Cadence’s complicated relationship with her mom, and it became repetitive fast. I also had a hard time getting into the romance. The “destined to be together” angle felt forced, and there was a lot more internal monologue than actual connection on the page. And both Cadence and Sydney seemed emotionally immature. Honestly, I didn't like either FMC. The premise was really cute, but I think I was expecting more of a romcom vibe, especially with the whole reverse Parent Trap setup. But it ended up feeling dry, and I found myself tuning out and just not that interested. That said, if you’re into slow burns with a lot of emotional processing, this might be more your thing. 📅 Pub Date: August 12, 2025 Thank you to Berkley Publishing Group and NetGalley for the advanced copy. All thoughts are my own.
