Problems with the Amarok Diesel Particulate Filter are well documented. The Amarok runs an active DPF system that traps harmful diesel particulates in a honey comb structure, and then burns them off as the DPF flow is reduced. VW added a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to the Amarok. These are prone to failure and significantly restrict performance.

NOTE: THE 2011/2012 AMAROK'S HAVE A DIFFERENT LENGTH OF DPF. IF INSTALLING ON THESE MODELS YOU WILL NEED TO MODIFY AND EXTEND THE DPF DELETE PIPE TO SUIT.
