June 24-25 at LVL UP Sports, Columbus OH

Two separate events, each with their own personality and incentives.

Free to watch, tickets required to participate. 

SATURDAY June 24th: The JOUST

($75 / player - limited tickets available)

(Price includes Entry to The Joust and paint)

Team Rolling 1v1 Match Play:

Team 1: "The Magnificent" - Captain Damian Ryan (World Cup Winner, Columbus LVL Mid Player)

Team 2: "The Glorious" - Captain Justin Politi (Columbus LVL Snake Player)

Players will register and team captains will have a draft to select their teams for each round of The Joust.

1 hour matches will be played.  Captains will send their team members one-by-one in a continuous play 1v1 format. Winner of each 1v1 remains on field.  Team roster members must all compete in a 1v1 before they can play a second 1v1.  No paint limits per 1v1, however each team allotted fixed amount of paint to start each match and none can be added.  20 seconds between each point.  10bps NXL Mode.  

Sideline coaching, counter coaching, trash talk and crowd participation allowed & encouraged.

 

SUNDAY June 25th: "The DUEL"

($100 / player - limited tickets available)

(Price includes entry to The Duel, paint sold separately)

Individual 1v1 Match Play, In Search of The Best. For players ranked D6 - Semi Pro

Winners receive Elite 1v1 Hormesis Headband and invite to Grand Finale in California for a chance to win a huge cash prize.

A Race to 15, with one player competing against another in a match format. With only 20 seconds between points, a coach, pit crew, and multiple sets of equipment are highly recommended.  Players will switch sides every 5 points, must win by two and there will be a 0-7 mercy rule.  No paint limits.

Sideline coaching / crowd participation will not be allowed.

Here's what I like: Appearance. I like the color and how it looks on my bed. It looks appropriate for a king sized bed. Removable cover. It was easy to take the cover off and wash, which I appreciate because I like my bedding to smell fresh and clean. What I don't like: It is a bit softer than I would like. But I can live with it. I thought it was a foam pillow inside, not fill. Maybe my fault though for not reading description or reviews. Quality. This is the biggest issue driving the rating. I removed the over upon opening the item so I could wash it. The buttons are attached the the inside cover. When removing the outside cover, you have to unbotton them. They are not secured well at all. From what I can tell the threading goes through the inside cover through the fill to the button on the opposite side. I suspect this because 4 buttons came off when I removed the outside cover. They are very loosely secured to each other. Be gentle when removing and replacing the cover. Now I will have to thread the buttons again and secure it. Just a pain for a brand new item. Should I expect that for the cost of the item? I dunno. Could have been a higher rating, but, damn those buttons.
