The same tool can be used even nowadays but needs more space and is of course much less precise. I love to work with the WuBi since it is light small and therefore much more handy without occupying space.
Actually the WuBi is an upgraded version of one of my Punching Thickness Gauges I had already made over 30 years ago.
I think it is a must have tool for every serious violinmaker who wants to have things under control.
I have seen already exact copies of my Wubi but beside that they sell it for half of mine here it is a real pain to work with it as it doesn´t work properly how it should. It is very important that all parts work properly in order that you can use it with one finger when you mark.

Functional, Look Great

These were nice corner shelves that were easy to install, and look great. There are plenty of other options on Amazon that offer more shelves and/or at a lower price, but these ones look nicer than most.
Overall they're pretty easy to install. It's not exactly a two-person job, but it is easier if you have help - someone to hold the shelf and a level, and the other to mark the holes. My only other recommendation is to check your L-brackets before you do anything. Some come bent inward, some bent outward. If they're really crooked it will make it hard to wedge the shelf into the corner and may result in uneven measurements/holes, so make sure you straighten them out first.

Great Tray For Storing My Everyday Carries

My everyday carry items (wallet, keys, etc.), used to just get thrown around wherever when I'd get home, but this little tray makes a great, defined, space for me to keep those things when I don't need them on me. The soft lining reduces the obnoxious sound of throwing keys on a hard surface, and of course keeps me from scratching up a surface. The build feels quality and I haven't seen any damage to it yet. Also the all black version with gold buckle looks quite good and adds a subtle touch of luxury. Absolute recommend for the price.
