Revive | Calm+ | 180 CapsulesSolid inositol, theanine, 5 HTP, and TRAACS minerals for real calm. Revive MD Calm+ is an open label calm and mood support in capsules, focused on balancing brain chemicals, refilling minerals, and supporting methylation. It doesn't rely on one knockout ingredient; it hits multiple angles to dial down that stressed feeling: balancing glutamate and GABA (brain signals for excitement and calm), making serotonin, cell signaling, and nutrients for energy

Solid inositol, theanine, 5-HTP, and TRAACS® minerals for real calm.

Revive MD Calm+ is an open-label calm and mood support in capsules, focused on balancing brain chemicals, refilling minerals, and supporting methylation. It doesn't rely on one knockout ingredient; it hits multiple angles to dial down that stressed feeling: balancing glutamate and GABA (brain signals for excitement and calm), making serotonin, cell signaling, and nutrients for energy and nerves. The goal is to cut mental overload, make relaxing easier, and steady your mood without stims or hidden blends.

The star is 2g inositol, hitting the low end of doses used for mood and anxiety stuff. Inositol works as a messenger in cells, affecting serotonin and dopamine (mood regulators), plus insulin signaling. Basically, it helps your brain not feel so stuck in high gear. L-theanine at 200mg is a real dose backed by studies for dropping stress fast. It tweaks glutamate receptors and boosts alpha waves, giving that calm-but-alert feel you notice quick.

GABA's at 200mg, a standard dose for calm support. Studies on oral GABA are iffy due to brain barrier questions, but 200mg is solid, especially with theanine. It's not for total knockout, but for smoother calm via gut-brain links. 5-HTP at 150mg is a good amount, a bit under the 200-300mg often seen in studies, but it's a smart choice: enough to boost serotonin without the gut issues higher doses can bring.

Revive Calm+ by Revive contains 100mg Vitamin C, a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 2,000mg inositol – that's a legit dose and a key player here. It acts as a messenger in cells for brain chemicals and insulin, making it way more than just a buzzword for mood.
  • 200mg L-theanine – spot-on for studies on quick stress relief. It boosts alpha waves and tones down glutamate, so you feel calmer without the heavy drowsiness a lot of people skip.
  • 150mg 5-HTP – a solid dose that's effective in real life but easier on the stomach than super high amounts that can cause nausea. Smarter than those tiny 25-50mg throws-ins.
  • 200mg GABA – a real addition that teams up with theanine instead of going solo. Even with debates on it crossing to the brain, this dose matches what studies use for a calmer state.
  • 150mg magnesium as TRAACS® bisglycinate chelate – not the cheap oxide junk, and that counts. This chelated version from Albion absorbs better and goes easier on your gut, great for a calm supp in capsules.
  • 10mg zinc as TRAACS® bisglycinate chelate – another win on form. Zinc helps tons of enzymes, and this version beats out basic salts that get blocked easier.
  • 1360mcg DFE folate as calcium 5-methyltetrahydrofolate – the active, methylated kind, not plain folic acid. Key for methylation, handling homocysteine, and backing brain chemical support.
  • 400mcg methylcobalamin B12 plus 20mg B6 – these add real depth. B6 helps turn 5-HTP into serotonin, while B12 and folate handle methylation linked to mood and nerves.

Revive Calm+ by Revive contains 100mg Vitamin C, a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Who Is This For?

  • Busy pros with heavy brain work who stay 'on' after hours. 200mg L-theanine, 200mg GABA, and 150mg 5-HTP help switch from stress without full sedation.
  • Night trainers or athletes whose system stays amped post-gym. Stim-free with theanine, taurine, magnesium bisglycinate, and inositol to ease off without sleep aid hangover.
  • Folks with light sleep, fidgety nights, and hard unwinding over plain tiredness. Supports calm brain signals and serotonin for that overstimulated adult vibe.
  • People wanting straight-up mood support without blends. Every dose shown, key in a category hiding weak calm ingredients.
  • Users who dig amino acids and nutrients but skip heavy adaptogens. Leans on inositol, theanine, taurine, GABA, 5-HTP, and methylated B's over herbs.
  • Those who relax with mag but want more. TRAACS® mag paired with 5-HTP, B6, inositol, and theanine for minerals plus brain support.

How to Use

Take 6 capsules daily with water, best 30-60 minutes before bed or your chill routine. Gives acute stuff like L-theanine, GABA, and 5-HTP time to work for full relax. If new to this or sensitive to 5-HTP, start with 3 caps for 3-4 days, then full if good. 5-HTP can bug stomachs, so with a light meal is smarter than fasted. Don't stack loose with other serotonin things like extra 5-HTP or tryptophan unless you get why. Pairs great with sleep basics: dim lights, cut late caffeine, steady bedtime to boost it. No cycling needed – it's stim-free daily support. Store cool and dry, lid tight. If on prescription mood, anxiety, or sleep meds, check with doc first due to 5-HTP.

What to Expect

First 30 minutes, no big rush – it's capsules, not a pre-workout buzz. You notice less mental fuzz first – reduced edge, less overthinking, smoother pace from theanine. Next 45-90 minutes, the rest kicks in: GABA, taurine, and mag for relaxed body, 5-HTP for evening shift. Day 1 is subtle calm, not heavy. First week, better unwind and sleep start. Weeks 2-4, it's more like tougher stress handling and steady mood from the nutrients and inositol building up.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I take Revive MD Calm+?

Take 6 capsules 30-60 minutes before bed or before your planned wind-down routine. That timing aligns well with the onset window for L-theanine, GABA, and 5-HTP, which are the ingredients most responsible for the immediate calming effect.

Is Calm+ a sedative sleep aid or more of a stress formula?

It is better described as a calm-and-sleep-readiness formula than a heavy sedative. The 200mg theanine, 200mg GABA, 2g inositol, 600mg taurine, and 150mg 5-HTP are designed to help you downshift and unwind rather than knock you out.

Does Revive MD Calm+ contain melatonin?

No. Calm+ does not use melatonin. Instead, it leans on neurotransmitter support from 5-HTP, GABA, theanine, and inositol plus calming mineral support from magnesium and zinc.

How much magnesium is in Calm+, and what form is it?

Each full serving provides 150mg magnesium as TRAACS® magnesium bisglycinate chelate from Albion. The form matters because bisglycinate is known for strong absorption and better GI comfort compared with lower-quality forms like oxide.

Is the 2g inositol dose meaningful?

Yes. Inositol is dosed at 2,000mg, which sits at the low end of the clinically relevant range commonly used for mood and stress-related applications. That makes it one of the most serious ingredients in the formula, not just a label decoration.

Can I take Calm+ if I use an SSRI or SNRI?

Not without medical guidance. Calm+ includes 150mg 5-HTP, which is a direct serotonin precursor, and combining that with serotonergic medications should be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional.

Will Calm+ make me feel groggy the next morning?

Most users describe the formula as smoothing and calming rather than sedating, largely because the stack is built around theanine, inositol, GABA, taurine, and 5-HTP instead of heavy hypnotics. Individual response varies, so sensitive users should start with 3 capsules.

Is Calm+ fully transparent?

Yes. There are no proprietary blends in this formula. Every active ingredient and every dose is disclosed, which is a major advantage in the calm/sleep support category.

Can I stack Calm+ with standalone magnesium?

You can, but do it intentionally. Calm+ already provides 150mg magnesium as TRAACS® bisglycinate, so adding more only makes sense if you are specifically trying to raise total magnesium intake rather than assuming more is always better.

How long does Calm+ take to work?

Some effects are noticeable the first night, especially from theanine and the overall calming stack. The broader benefits—better unwinding, steadier mood, and improved stress tolerance—tend to become more obvious after 2-4 weeks of consistent daily use.

Not a bad start

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
