The advantage of the Air Locker lies in the pneumatically operated locking system inside the differential. When activated, the Air Locker prevents the internal differential gears from rotating and therefore prevents the axle shafts from turning independently of each other. With both wheels tied directly to the rotation of the ring gear, the vehicle maintains maximum possible traction at all times. When unlocked, it operates like a conventional open differential. Fit is ok
They are a definite improvement from my original 22 year old grills but they have some clear differences in quality of the chroming, if you compare oem to these side by side the oem grills look smoother. also they don't fit great at least not on my car, albeit with a bit of nudging they fit pretty close to the originals. Overall not bad for something that is a quarter of the price of the oem part
