TBM Brakes Dirt Late Model packages help eliminate caliper drag, put more power to the ground, and increases corner and exit speeds.
TBM Brakes Super Late Model package comes with our industry leading F3 calipers. Made up of forged aluminum housings and hardened steel center sections. Symmetrical 1.75” piston bores for the rear and left front. 1.38” piston bores for the right front to reduce RF braking by 38%. O-ring piston seals to optimize piston retraction. Electroless Nickel Plated components for internal performance and external protective properties. Modular design simplifies impact repair and reduces the amount of spares needed. Same caliper can be used with .810”, .500”, or .375” thick rotors. Individual caliper loaded with pads weighs 5 lbs.
For the rotors, in order to mange the higher temperatures seen in these higher horsepower applications, we provide our Pro-Cast vented brake rotors. Cast rotors that are inspected and subjected to the same proprietary treatment as our Revolution Rotors. On the front, we use our 11.75" x .810" 36 vane light duty rotor that weighs in at 7.8 lbs. On the rear, we use our 11.75" x .810" 40 vane heavy duty rotor that weighs in at 9.5 lbs.
Rounding out our Super Late Model package, we include our #96 brake pad compound for the front and our #97 brake pad compound for the rear. The difference in Coefficient of Friction yields 33% more brake torque at the rear of the car.
