ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
In a tale as twisted as any spy thriller, discover how three women delivered critical evidence of Axis war crimes to Allied forces during World War II: "A tantalizingly novelistic history lesson" (Kirkus). In 1944, news of secret diaries kept by Italy's Foreign Minister, Galeazzo Ciano, had permeated public consciousness. What wasn't reported, however, was how three women--a Fascist's daughter, a German spy, and an American banker's wife--risked their lives to ensure the diaries would reach the Allies, who would later use them as evidence against the Nazis at Nuremberg. In 1944, Benito Mussolini's daughter, Edda, gave Hitler and her father an ultimatum: release her husband, Galeazzo Ciano, from prison, or risk her leaking her husband's journals to the press. To avoid the peril of exposing Nazi lies, Hitler and Mussolini hunted for the diaries for months, determined to destroy them. Hilde Beetz, a German spy, was deployed to seduce Ciano to learn the diaries' location and take them from Edda. As the seducer became the seduced, Hilde converted as a double agent, joining forces with Edda to save Ciano from execution. When this failed, Edda fled to Switzerland with Hilde's daring assistance to keep Ciano's final wish: to see the diaries published for use by the Allies. When American spymaster Allen Dulles learned of Edda's escape, he sent in Frances De Chollet, an "accidental" spy, telling her to find Edda, gain her trust, and, crucially, hand the diaries over to the Americans. Together, they succeeded in preserving one of the most important documents of WWII. Drawing from in-depth research and first-person interviews with people who witnessed these events, Mazzeo gives readers a riveting look into this little-known moment in history and shows how, without Edda, Hilde, and Frances's involvement, certain convictions at Nuremberg would never have been possible.

Buy it you'll love it. You'll realize that you really needed it
Color: Black
Size is perfect for rag, scrubber sponges soap. It's very sturdy love that the block on bottom dryies up all the liquid it's absolutely amazing. It's very convenient, love the way you can organize everything. I'm the kind of person I have to have everything organized that's the way I grew up. I have not seen any signs of rust no where. Highly recommend. It is very very nice.

Funcional but smaller than I thought
Color: B-silver
I liked it and it replaces something around the kitchen sink that was constantly dripping liquid soap dish into the sink making a mess! This new organizes items much better. It's smaller than I envisioned and wish it came with it's own soap bottles dispensers but I found two small ones placing them side by side and it works. Did not use the metal divider. I cannot tell yet the drying speed of the sliding out stone. It's functional at keeping everything hands reach and organized around the kitchen sink.

Color: Gold, Color: Gold
It was exactly as described- looks nice on my counter. I haven’t bought the scrub brush I want yet to put in the taller space but it def dries fast anytime water gets on it. I like the look on my counter space. It’s not flimsy, I like the color of the gold.

Effective!!
Color: Black, Color: Black
This caddy keeps my sink organized. It absorbs the water when I place my sponges on it and its super easy to keep clean. I squeeze as much waster as I can from the sponges so it doesn't wear out. I've had this a little under a year and it has held up exceptionally well.
