Rosso rubino intenso nel bicchiere, si esprime sulle classiche note fruttate di ciliegie mature e frutti rossi con lievi sentori di viola. In bocca il frutto è concentrato, la struttura solida e morbida.

Uno straordinario Chianti Classico DOCG quello del Castello di Volpaia. Frutto di una vendemmia manuale e una macerazione sulle bucce di circa 10 giorni. La vinificazione comprende inoltre una fermentazione a temperatura controllata con lieviti autoctoni e un affinamento di circa 14 mesi in botti di rovere. Un Chianti morbido ed elegante dalla beva straordinariamente appagante.

Ottimo con zuppe di legumi, carni rosse arrosto o brasate. Si abbina perfettamente ad un tagliere di salumi misti e formaggi mediamente stagionati.
