The Tamiya 1/35 German Elefant Sd.Kfz.184 (35325) reproduces the most heavily armoured tank destroyer of the Second World War — the massive Elefant that was developed from the unsuccessful Porsche Tiger prototype and armed with the devastating 88mm Pak 43/2 L/71 gun. Despite mechanical reliability issues at Kursk, the Elefant's 200mm of frontal armour made it virtually impervious to most Allied and Soviet anti-tank weapons, and its gun could destroy any Allied or Soviet vehicle at extreme range.
