DESCRIPTION
Vitamin D is an essential fat soluble vitamin (and prohormone) that every single cell in the human body has a receptor for, which means it plays a huge role in numerous biochemical processes linked to many impressive health benefits.
Vitamin D has finally become 'mainstream' by earning notoriety as an immune aid (against viruses) during the COVID pandemic. As well as supporting immunity, Vitamin D may also help to improve mood and ward off depression.
Research has also shown Vitamin D to be a vital nutrient for health, as it plays an important role in the metabolism of calcium (the main mineral in bones and teeth) as well as reducing the loss of calcium from our teeth and bones.
But even with Vitamin D's new found fame; it's estimated (in this BMJ article) that 20% of the UK's adult population is still deficient, with rates being even higher among the black (34.9%) and Asian (53.7%) communities.
And even though our bodies can produce Vitamin D, we need adequate amounts of sunshine (as it is synthesised following UVB exposure from the sun) for this to happen, to which there in (the UK!) lies the problem...and is the reason we why created Vitamin D+
Vitamin D+ is our highly bioavailable Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) and Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7) fat soluble formulation, combined to create a synergistic powerhouse for normal bone, teeth, immunity and cardiovascular health.
There are two types of Vitamin D available on the market; D2 and D3. Vitamin D+ contains D3 (Cholecalciferol) as it has been shown to be up to three times as effective as D2.
There are also 2 types of Vitamin K; K1 and K2. Vitamin D+ contains K2 (Menaquinone-7) as it has shown to be more beneficial for our bones than K1.
Vitamin K2 and D3 work together to activate the calcium-binding actions of two proteins (matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin), which help to build and maintain bones whilst mitigating the effects arterial calcification.

DIRECTIONS
