Pioneer DJ have captured the need for fast, dependable software that is easily transportable with exceptional sound.  Combining the DDJ-RZ DJ controller with the Rekordbox DJ software has meant that DJs no longer have to take equipment to venues but instead can prepare and play directly from the laptop or export to a USB and use the industry standard equipment that is found in the majority of venues across the globe, all from one single library.

The DDJ-RZ looks very similar to the prominent DDJ-SZ with the added compatibility with the new Rekordbox DJ software.  This is reflected in the RZ controller which emulates the software layout for ease of use. The four-channel controller allows you to perform with all four of the Rekordbox DJ decks and each channel has its own level meters and trim pots for maximum control. The RZ also boasts of two USB sound cards and ports with a top-loaded input switcher to enable smoother DJ transitions.

The Pioneer DDJ-RZ DJ Controller also comes with four inputs which enables easy connection to DJ equipment along with using it as a four-channel stand-alone mixer. The RZ also consists of two master outputs (XLR and RCA) and a booth output enabling connections direct to professional PA equipment. The two MIC inputs have been improved to eliminate any distortion.  There is a Rekordbox DJ software expansion pack supplied with the purchase of the DDJ-RZ.

Rekordbox DJ has arrived; the new software released by Pioneer DJ is just what Rekordbox users have been waiting for. Rekordbox DJ uses one library so a set can be prepped and played straight from a laptop and used with a controller or export the same library to a USB device ready to use on the Industry standard CDJ-2000 Nexus players.

Rekordbox DJ includes all the accustomed tools including Sampler, Slicer, Hot Cues, Beat FX and Sound Color FX along with Beat Jump and introducing the new Pad FX so you can create multiple FX chains using all 16 pads.

Another significant feature is the software solely reflects the layout of Pioneer DJ controllers, so the transition to Rekordbox DJ is trouble-free. The players, sampler, waveform, FX and browser accurately replicates the hardware. DJs are also able to choose a view that suits them; either 2/4-deck horizontal or vertical.

Rekordbox DJ provides the option for the Graphical User Interface (GUI) to be split into two screens. One can be used for browsing whilst the other for the performance features. Due to the enhanced browsing, DJs can find the tracks they want more quickly by using the options of Playlist Palette, Shortcut, Related Tracks, My Tag, Preview or artwork display.
